New integrated technology platform makes it easier than ever to book in with your dentist

With an increasingly global spotlight on UK dentistry, access to high quality dentistry has become an important issue. Centre for Dentistry, the dental practice in Sainsbury’s, are eliminating barriers to access and embracing technology to make it easier and more convenient than ever to book an appointment with your dentist.

It is reported that almost 50% of NHS dentists are not taking on new patients and there are long waiting lists in many areas of the country. NHS cuts have had a negative impact on the service dentists are able to offer their patients. If you do manage to see an NHS dentist, chances are that you’d be in and out within 10 minutes.

An NHS that is “under-resourced and focused more upon experimental targets and tick-boxes than patients” (according to Tony Kilcoyne in his letter to The Telegraph, January 2018) doesn’t lend itself to a system with patient care at its heart. More and more people in the UK are turning to private dentistry and learning that it’s more affordable and convenient than they had first thought.

Centre for Dentistry has been at the forefront of innovation in the dental industry since the launch of their first dental practice inside Sainsbury’s supermarket in 2012.
